Contract phones

The phones people pick most this month

Each card is the 24-month deal with the lowest total cost for that phone — not the lowest monthly figure, which often hides a big upfront payment.

461 phone models tracked · prices checked 27 October 2026

SIM only · no annual price rise

Already own your phone? These four keep the price you signed for.

The big four networks add £1.80 to £2.50 to SIM only bills every spring. These SIMs run on the same masts and don’t.

Coverage maps work by postcode; real availability is per address. Enter yours and we’ll show the full-fibre, cable and 5G home options that actually reach it — plus social tariffs if you claim Universal Credit.

Why it’s free to use

Some retailers pay us a commission when you buy after clicking through. You pay exactly the same, and deals are ranked by total cost alone — never by who pays us more. How we make money →

The short version

  • Compare the total over the contract, not the monthly price.
  • Add each network’s April rise — since January 2025 it must be stated in pounds before you sign.
  • If your phone still works, SIM only is almost always the cheapest way to stay connected.
  • Switching is free and quick: a text to 65075 for mobile, and One Touch Switch for broadband.

How to compare mobile phone deals in the UK

Phone deals are sold on the monthly price, but that number leaves out two things that decide what you actually pay: the upfront cost and the annual price rise. A £25-a-month contract with £300 to pay on the day costs more over two years than a £33 contract with nothing upfront. bemobiles adds up every part of the bill — upfront, each monthly payment and every April rise in pounds — and ranks deals by that true total.

We compare deals from UK retailers and networks for every phone we track, refreshed several times a day. You can open any phone, from the iPhone 17 to the Galaxy S26, and see the cheapest deal on each network side by side, together with the cost of buying the phone outright and adding a SIM only plan.

Why April price rises matter

Most big networks raise prices every spring by a fixed amount: EE adds £4 a month to phone plans on 31 March, O2 and Vodafone add £2.50 every April, and Three adds £1.80 to £2.30 depending on your data. On a 24-month contract you pay the higher price for most of the second year, which can add £50 to £100 to the total. giffgaff, SMARTY, Lebara and VOXI have no annual rise at all. See every network’s rise.

Switching takes minutes

To move your mobile number, text PAC to 65075 and give the code to your new network; your number moves within one working day and you don’t pay for any notice period after the switch. For broadband, One Touch Switch means you only contact the new provider. When your contract ends, your provider must tell you and show its best deals — that is the moment to move to SIM only or upgrade.

FAQ

Phone deals, explained in one line each

Why don’t you rank deals by monthly price?

Because a low monthly price with a large upfront payment can cost more overall. We rank by the total you pay over the contract and show each network’s announced price rise in pounds next to it.

Are the prices on this page live?

Yes. Prices, upfront costs and images come straight from retailers through our data partner and refresh several times a day.

Do I pay more by buying through bemobiles?

No. The retailer pays us a commission; your price is the same as going direct.

What is the difference between EE and the brands that use EE?

Same masts and coverage, different price, extras and customer service. Our network pages show which brand runs on which network.

Can I keep my number when I switch?

Yes. Text PAC to 65075 to get your code, give it to your new network, and the number moves within one working day.
